Mission
Why USAS exists
USAS is a symbol of vision, unity, and student-driven progress. Established in 1992 by a group of university students, the organization emerged from the collective movement that played a significant role in the campaign for Shayestaganj to become an upazila. From that spirit of unity and social commitment, USAS began its journey.
Since its inception, USAS has been working tirelessly to inspire students toward higher education, develop their talents, and nurture leadership qualities among the youth of Shayestaganj. The organization is dedicated to guiding students from various educational institutions toward university education and preparing them to face competitive academic and professional challenges with confidence.
One of the most remarkable initiatives of USAS is the “USAS Talent Festival,” which has been successfully organized for several consecutive years. Through this platform, students get the opportunity to test their abilities, strengthen their competitive mindset, and prepare themselves effectively for university admission examinations and other competitive tests.
USAS also arranges reception programs for students who achieve admission to universities across the country and honors individuals from Shayestaganj who attain success in BCS examinations and other prestigious careers. Alongside these initiatives, the organization regularly conducts educational guidance and motivational programs aimed at empowering the younger generation.
Beyond academic activities, USAS actively promotes unity and networking among university students through picnics, sports events, and various social and cultural programs organized throughout the year. These activities help strengthen friendship, teamwork, and leadership among students while fostering a vibrant and supportive community.
Currently, the organization is led by President Shah Ahmad Reza and General Secretary Md. Shahriar Nasim Emon. Under their leadership, USAS continues to move forward with a vision of building an enlightened, skilled, and future-ready generation.
